Police arrested a 20-year-old Toronto man they say tossed a stink bomb onto a subway train during rush hour last month.
As a southbound train was leaving St. George Station on April 7, the man allegedly threw the device on board, filling the train with smoke.
Police said the smoke caused panic and fear among the passengers and triggered a full emergency response.
The subway was shut down for 56 minutes.
On Thursday, police arrested Thomas Laforme and charged him with mischief.
He was due in court at Old City Hall on Friday morning.
