Toronto is saying goodbye to winter with a few flurries.

Monday is the first day of spring (the new season began at 6:28:37 a.m.) and the above-zero temperatures came with a chance of snow.

There’s a high of 8 C in the forecast, 680 NEWS meteorologist Jill Taylor said, with a mix of sun and cloud.

There could be flurries in the west end of the GTA, Taylor said, but it will end by about 7:30 a.m.

After that, Monday will be increasingly cloudy with a chance of showers, CityNews weather specialist Frank Ferragine said.
