Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man after an armed bank robbery in Markham on March 4.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. in the area of 9th Line and Highway 407.
Police said a lone male walked into the bank with a handgun and demanded cash. The teller then complied and the suspect fled on foot.
Investigators believe this is the same man from another incident that occurred on March 10 in the Belleville area.
The man is described as white, 30 to 40 years old, five-foot-eight, was wearing a black mask, a grey hooded jacket and is armed with a handgun.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
The investigation is ongoing.
