Toronto police are investigating after a man was shot in an underground parking lot on Monday, and they’re not ruling out a connection to another east-end shooting.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was shot near Birchmount Road and Dulverton Road just after 10 p.m.
It’s believed he got into a confrontation with a group of men, who then left the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle.
The victim was rushed to hospital in serious condition. He is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made and a description of the suspects have not been released.
Police are looking into a possible link between this shooting and another early on Tuesday morning. A man was found at an apartment building on Thorncliffe Park Drive, but police believe he may have been shot somewhere else.
