Suspect arrested after Vaughan double stabbing

A 20-year-old Richmond Hill man is facing a charge of second-degree murder after a double stabbing in Vaughan on Sunday.

Emergency crews were called to the scene near Highway 400 and Highway 7 around 3 a.m.

Police said an altercation occurred between two groups of people in the parking lot at 120 Interchange Way. As a result of the altercation two men were stabbed.

Gianluca Cellucci, 22, of Richmond Hill was pronounced dead on the scene. A 22-year-old Aurora man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.

Police said Nick Bagherzadeh was located in Toronto on Monday afternoon and arrested without incident.

He will be charge with second-degree murder and attempted murder.

Investigators are still asking for any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward.
