Police searching for two men after violent TTC robbery

Toronto police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two men in a violent robbery that happened on Nov. 26.

Police said two men were on a TTC bus traveling south on Jane Street towards Lawrence Avenue West around 5:30 p.m.

The two men were playing loud music and another man asked them to lower it. The two men became very agitated and began to yell and swear at the man.

The man got off the bus at Lawrence Avenue West and was followed by the other two men.

The two men then attacked him and stole his property. They then fled on foot.

Police described the first suspect as 18 to 25 years old, five-foot-seven with a medium build, has blonde/brown hair, unshaven, and was last seen wearing a black Blue Jays baseball cap and a grey hooded sweater.

The second suspect is described as 18 to 25 years old, has a thin build, short black hair, was clean-shaven, last seen wearing a black Moose-Knuckle jacket with a fur hood.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
