A 40-year-old Brampton man has died after being struck by a car near Steeles Avenue East and Torbram Road in Brampton, Peel police confirm.

The 64-year-old driver of the car, also from Brampton, remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.

Police have not yet laid any charges.
