Oprah Winfrey is coming to Hamilton.
The television mogul will host “An Evening With Oprah Winfrey” at Copps Coliseum on April 13, answering questions from the audience and sharing stories about her life.
Tickets go on sale Thursday.
Winfrey’s last Ontario appearance was a sold-out show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in 2012. Tickets for that event ranged from $49-$395.
She promised that the Hamilton event would feature stories from her life, and also teach attendees to take control of their own lives. During the same tour, she’ll also visit Ottawa (April 10) and Montreal (April 11).
Winfrey ended her 25-year daytime talk show on May 26, 2011. Her own cable network, OWN, launched in Canada on March 1, 2011.
Since then, Winfrey has been promoting her Life Classes, with lessons from everyone from Jay-Z to Deepak Chopra. She recently made headlines for her one-on-one interviews with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong and superstar Beyonce.
