The Toronto Maple Leafs ramped up their campaign to win back disgruntled fans with a jersey giveaway on Friday.
The team left nine jerseys encased in ice blocks around the city and said fans could do “whatever is necessary” to get them out.
The Leafs also asked people to send in photos via Twitter.
The locations are:

Trinity Bellwoods Park – 155 Crawford St.

On Thursday, the Leafs announced they would give free tickets to 1,000 people and season ticketholders for the home opener against the Buffalo Sabres on Monday.
They also invited fans to watch the Leafs practice at the Air Canada Centre for free.
The NHL lockout lasted 119 days, upsetting legions of loyal fans. Teams will play only 48 games this season.
