A 16-year-old boy has turned himself in to police after allegedly threatening three children with a knife at the Eaton Centre.

The teen suspect walked in to 52 Division with his father on Friday.

It’s alleged the suspect approached an 11-year-old boy around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday with a large knife and led the child around the mall.

The boy gave money to the suspect and escaped.

In the ensuing investigation, police learned two 14-year-old boys were allegedly threatened by a male matching the suspect’s description about a month earlier.

The suspect reportedly threatened the boys while leading them around the mall. They escaped unharmed.

The teen, who can’t be named, is facing charges of attempted abduction of  a person under 14, robbery, assault, and threaten bodily harm.

Police believe there could be more victims.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
