James Bond is back on top as Skyfall, the latest installment in the franchise, was the number-one movie at the box office this weekend, taking in US $11 million in its fifth week in theatres.

The latest 007 installment is the best-selling film in the 49-year-old series, having made $261 million in Canada and the United States.

Rise of the Guardians, an animated fantasy movie, made $10.5 million to take second place.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2
, which has led the box office for the past three weeks, dropped to third place, taking in $9.2 million.

The fifth and final movie in the Twilight series has now grossed $268.7 million, according to movie-tracking website boxofficemojo.com.
