Subways on the Yonge-University-Spadina line will not be running this weekend between Union and St. Andrew stations.

The closure is due to work on a second platform at Union Station.

It will last all day Saturday and Sunday, with regular service resuming Monday at 6 a.m.

All trains on the Yonge line will terminate southbound at Union Station, and all trains on the University-Spadina line will terminate southbound at St. Andrew Station.

For alternate service to Union Station, the TTC suggests taking the Yonge subway line.

The TTC says to use the 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen or 504 King streetcar services to connect between subway lines.
