Police have three people in custody after separate crashes Friday morning and officers believe alcohol may have been a factor in all of them.

A 23-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving after he sped across several front lawns in Markham just after 4 a.m.

He only stopped when crashed into the garage of a house on Raymerville Drive, near 16th Avenue and McCowan Road.

No one was seriously injured. There’s no word on the cost of the damage.

One woman suffered a broken leg after she crashed her car into a pole around 4 a.m. Friday at Colborne Lodge Drive and Lake Shore Boulevard West.

She had to be extricated from the car, police said.

No other vehicles were involved and no one else was injured.

Less than an hour later, police stopped a driver that was going the wrong way on a one-way street.

A woman was taken into custody around 4 a.m. on Palmerston Avenue near Dundas Street West.

She has since been charged with impaired driving.
