Three men have been charged after a series of daylight robberies in Milton and Georgetown where they allegedly stole items worth $100,000 in pillowcases, Halton police say.

Officers believe the men, dubbed the pillowcase bandits, broke into 23 homes, between Sept. 5 and Nov. 7.

The men took electronics, cash and jewelry from the homes – and pillowcases, to hold the stolen items.

The men were arrested on Nov. 8. Police then executed search warrants at their homes and at a plaza where it’s believed they sold some of the items.

Officers allegedly recovered $100,000 dollars of stolen property and $17,000 in cash.  Police also seized two vehicles, which were not stolen but were allegedly used in the robberies.

Montague Morgan, 20, of Brampton; Yanic Roberts, 21, of Brampton and Rojae Graham, 22, of Scarborough, are each charged with 23 counts of break and enter.
