Toronto police are investigating after a cyclist was hit by a truck in downtown on Tuesday morning.
The 38-year-old woman had serious, life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital following the 8:45 a.m. crash at Yonge and Gerrard streets.
“The vehicles involved remained on scene,” Const. Clint Stibbe told CityNews.
“The driver is co-operating and we are looking for witnesses.”
The cycling was heading west, crossing Yonge on the north street. The driver of the truck, a 37-year-old man, was turning onto Yonge when the collision occurred, he said.
