It seems like an unusual record to break in November but the mild temperature on Sunday marked an unofficial warm-weather milestone.

As of 1 p.m. the temperature hit 18.4 C, unofficially breaking the warm-weather record for Nov. 11 of 17.2 C set back in 1938.

“We’re seeing lots of sunshine out there and a southerly wind that’s pretty strong and the combination of both bringing up that temperature,” CityNews weather specialist Stella Acquisto said.

Enjoy the warm weather while you can because things are expected to return to below-seasonal and chilly conditions on Tuesday with a forecast high of 4 C.
