The St. Louis Blues received a boost to their playoff push Sunday, as the team activated veteran centre Andy McDonald off the injured-reserve list.
McDonald has missed the past 51 games after suffering a concussion on Oct. 13 in Dallas. The Strathroy, Ont., native had 20 goals and 50 points in an injury-shortened 58-game season in 2010-11.
The Blues also announced Sunday that forward Matt D’Agostini has been placed on the IR with a head injury. D’Agostini has nine goals and 18 points in 52 games this season.
