A man who allegedly stole a string of poppy donation boxes in Hamilton has been granted bail and will be released shortly.

George Sangwook Park, 33, of Stoney Creek, Ont., was arrested without incident on Wednesday morning and charged with four counts of theft.

He was granted bail with a surety during a court appearance mid-morning Thursday.

The four alleged poppy thefts occurred earlier this week and last week at several Tim Hortons stores.
