Spring in certainly in the air and in between the occasional rainfall, Torontonians are quick to get out and enjoy a stint of warm weather. It looks as though temperatures in the negative are finally behind us and this weekend kicks off many family-friendly, spring oriented events around the GTA.
Here is what’s happening in Toronto this weekend:
-The Harlem Globetrotters will be at the Rogers Centre Friday night.
-The Puck’s Farm Egg Hunt starts Saturday and runs every weekend until Easter Monday.
-Warner Bros. Presents Bugs Bunny at the Symphony created and conducted by George Daugherty live at the Sony Centre for Performing Arts on Saturday night.
-The Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival at Bruce’s Mill Conservation Area in Whitchurch-Stouffcille and Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughan.
-Joan Sasaki’ Pine exhibit opened on Thursday at the AGO and will run until June 5.
-Edward Burtynsky’s oil photography exhibit opens Saturday at the ROM and will run until July 3.
-The Sprockets Toronto International Film Festival for Children begins on Friday at the TIFF Bell Lightbox and run until April 17.
